self-help groups

art group

Every Tuesday & Thursday between 1pm and 4pm local people get together to create some art or craft in the activity room – beginners or more experienced are all welcome – you can bring your own work in and crack on with it or you can have a go at whatever theme we are working on already – we can often provide the materials.

music group

Every Tuesday between 3.30pm and 6pm a few local musicians get together to produce material in the recording studio – any musicians welcome to join in and we’ll help you develop your material, in exchange for helping the others with theirs – its a collaborative session.

kids club

Every Monday 3pm and 5pm a few local parents support local children (5-12’s) to come and have a relaxed & fun break from school and home – learning some new skills – maybe making some new friends.

singing group

Every Wednesday between 6.30pm and 8pm a few local singers (in the widest sense of the word) get together to have a lovely sing – we do a wide range of material from Mama’s and the Papa’s to Louis Armstrong to Michael Kiwanuka to Elvis to The Weeknd.

bsnug - live events

Every quarter we hold a live music event at the centre called BSnug. Where we invite guest singers, rappers & musicians and and encourage others to just turn up and perform ‘open mic’ stylee.

It’s an unpredictable mix of genre’s and we have accommodated Ukulele Bands, Psycho-billie, Grime, Jazz, Bluegrass, Country, Comedians, Spoken Word, Rock etc etc – you name it, we’ve had it!
